Artistic Endeavors, and A Bonus Rant

Granted both are the same damn thing. No matter.
Okay today I actually got a heck of a lot done. Now, although there are a couple of things I’d still like to get to, I’m just going to hold off until tomorrow. I’m trying out some 3-D type deals with either a greeting card, box, or something else. I have the inspirational thing going so, that isn’t a problem I could more than likely get all of it hammered out sometime withing the next day or two.

Maybe I’m just feeling a bit snarky, maybe not. Truthfully and in the interest of full disclosure, I’m pro-life I’m also very pro- prevention.

Considering the whole abstinence thing obviously work (more than likely going against the whole “human nature” thing), I have to wonder why we can’t just offer up some cash and get people fixed? Before you jump that “you are a horrible individual and should proceed to take a long walk off that short peer” argument, hear me out.
Offer up some cold, hard cash I’ll bet that the line will be more than out the door. Truthfully, I’d much rather have my tax dollars going towards that (one time deal) than pay for someone to keep spitting out kids they don’t even intend to take care of.
Our system is screwed up, I think that is something we can agree on. More or less there are quite unfortunately a ton of “unwanted kids” in the world. Which in turn just ads more into kids being put through hell on earth. However short their time is, they suffer when they, out of all of us don’t deserve it.

Sorry, the rant should have ended but then I read this gem. Are you serious? Really now? Boycotting due to a card?? American Family Association suing over a frikken card. Wow.

Okay, I’m better. My indignation took hold for a second. Whew, I’m glad that’s over. I really thought that was a joke site. Scary, it’s serious. Holy crap, I’m very frightened. Although by writing this I’m going to have a God Hates Cookie Cutters fandom down on me, and the genreal Cristian Fanboys (no, not the normal ones no problem with them- The scary trying to send my ass to see a red nekkid dude.) Besides, some of my best friends are Christian.

Before you jump down my throat over that one now, realize – They are protesting a Greeting Card! Really think about that for a second, really let it sink in. Nutty huh?
